Our Team
We are a team of three licensed Social Workers, Kwajera Jackson, LCSW-C, Danice Young, LCSW-C and LaTonya Epps, LMSW. Our combined experience of over 20 years enables us to offer effective counseling to individuals, couples and families. We specialize in treating trauma, and supporting individuals navigating life transitions including marriage, separation, divorce, grief/loss, pregnancy, parenting, co-parenting and re-entry from incarceration. Additionally, we treat mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, post-partum mood and anxiety disorders.
Our Treatment
Our goal is to help individuals, couples and families navigate your journey of healing from past trauma, relational conflicts and life stressors. We use evidenced based treatment interventions with proven treatment outcomes such as Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT) and individuals (EFIT). Each of our clinicians are licensed mental health providers trained in Mental Health First Aid and trained in specific trauma informed treatment modalities to facilitate a felt safety and devise a treatment plan according to our clients' goals.
Our Services
We are committed to partnering with you for every step of your counseling, parenting and/or professional journey. In addition to counseling, we offer peer and parenting support groups, co- parenting mediation, clinical supervision and training. Our trainings are for caregivers, parents, mentors and professionals. Clinical Supervision is offered for BSW and MSW students while interning with our group practice. Clinical Supervision is also available for LMSWs working toward advanced licensure within our practice or seeking an independent Clinical Supervisor because a board approved Clinical Supervisor is not on staff or available where they are employed.
